This is a fully balanced input and balanced output state-of-the-art pre-amplifier with our newest new age circuit design which is totally differ from the other pre-amp series.

The QA-8001 boasts ultra heavy current tube rectifiers with use very common power tubes like 6550, KT88 or even KT100. A very special transformer implimented in this unit to enhances the dynamic range and naturalness to a new extreme. This pre-amplifier is built with no compromise in component quality, and it's superlative sound can readily be heard in the delivery characteristics: very sweet and realistic rendition, with ultra high dynamic range, musicality, high definition, and a very detailed, deep and width sound stage. Every vocal and musical instrument will have their own position of depth without interfering with each other but just single harmonically together. This pre-amp is suitable for any type of music reproduction, we feel it's performance is unsurpassed by competitor products in any price range.

This unit have our newest feature call "HD" (high dynamics/defintions), which can boost the dynamics and definition of any system into a new standard. At the same time, there will be no difference in measurements on any specifications in either normal or HD mode including frequency response, S/N...etc. This unit can output a maximum level of 100vp-p, which can drive a electrostatic panel directly with reasonable loudness.

This pre-amp impliment both AC and DC filament in the same unit, which can have both musical and sweet, as well as dead quiet with tight bass punch.

The output buffer stage can change with over 10 different types of tubes: (6G6/6L6/6V6/6Y6/6K6/EL34/6550/KT66/KT88/KT90/KT100...etc) for exact tuning to match the rest of your system. The input gain stage can use 2 different sets of tubes like (EL32/6G6G/6F6G/6K6G/6V6G/EF39...etc) to further fine-tune and blend the tonal quality to get 100% match your music preference and match rest part of the system.
